It was a thrilling weekend for Los Angeles Rams fans as the team took home the win against Cincinnati at the SoFi Stadium. The in-person crowd was glued to every play and excited to watch it all unfold and for the players, including Andrew Whitworth, the win was a highlight of their careers. But there was one person in the audience who was not interested in football – and her dad Andrew Whitworth was playing.
The Super Bowl was a major event for Whitworth, who plays offensive tackle for the Rams. Not only did he help clinch the win for his team, but he also won the NFL’s Man of the Year award for 2022. His family was at the game – a major event in what’s rumored to be his last season – and while his accomplishments were incredible, there was someone else in his family who had some viral spotlight that day, too. Andrew’s youngest daughter, 7-year-old Katherine. During the Big Game, a photo of Katherine went viral on Twitter. She was sitting with her family who were all glued into the game. But she was not. Instead, she was sitting with a book on her lap, reading and ignoring everything going on around her.

“Andrew Whitworth’s daughter – an unbothered queen,” the caption read on a photo shared by On Her Turf, powered by NBC News. Fans were curious what Andrew thought of the photo going viral and when he visited Today, Andrew said that viral photo captures his daughter’s personality.
“Oh, it’s special,” Andrew said. “She’s the fourth one and, you know, the hardest one. That’s her. ” He explained further, and his response was a beautiful show of perfect parenting because he’s proud of Katherine for being exactly who she is.
“She’s so cool,” Andrew explained. “She’s just her in every moment, and that’s what makes her special. You know what? It’s that fourth one that’s just the strongest, the toughest and who-she-is the most, out of all of them. ” The proud dad added, “That’s why we love her so much.”
The response was just perfect – a dad who knows exactly who his daughter is and loves it, not even resenting that she does not care too much about sports. As parents, you have to love your kids as they are, and celebrate their quirks. This is a beautiful example of that.
