We did not think “The Conners Comes for Aaron Rodgers” would be something to discuss this week, but here we are. The ABC sitcom apparently aimed at Aaron over his controversial vaccine stance, which is especially amusing because he’s a former guest star.
During this week’s episode, Mark to be heard complains that he has to go back to school, and his aunt Becky jokes that he might rather get homeschooled and says, “Then you will not be forced to have all those life-saving vaccines and you can make up your own scientific theories like your favorite athletes . ”
If you need a reminder, Rodgers has previously deceived supporters and teammates into being vaccinated against Covid-19, claiming he was “immunized” against the virus. In response to setbacks, he said he did not want to “have to give in to some awake culture or crazy group of individuals who say you have to do something.”
Since then, Rodgers has become convinced that people are taking root against the Packers because of him, he said. The Pat McAfee Show, “There were a lot of people who voted against us for one reason, and only one reason. It’s because of my vaccination status and they want to see us lose so they can pile up and enjoy and revel in the fact that my vaccination status was some reason why we did not achieve success in the play-off rounds. ”
