In The Last Crusade, when Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) walks past a wall carving depicting the “lost ark,” he mumbles “Ark of the Covenant.” Dr. Schneider (Alison Doody) says, “Are you sure?” And Indiana Jones growls, “pretty sure.” This is a hilarious understatement and one of the smartest ways a sequel has referred to its predecessor. Indy is pretty sure he knows what the Ark of the Covenant looks like, because he was almost dead when he tried to find it Raiders of the Lost Ark. But can you find Indiana Jones online? He was earlier, but not anymore. Will he be back? This is anyone’s guess.
Which Indiana Jones is on Paramount +?
By 2021, all four Indiana Jones movies were on Paramount +. But they are no more. The only Indiana Jones thing on Paramount + – from January 2022 – is The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Right now, if you want to watch Indy movies, you have to rent them. Here are your best options:

Wait, Indiana Jones is not on Disney +?
Yes, you would think, right? Because Lucasfilm is now part of Disney (IE Star Wars) and Lucasfilm has confirmed that Indiana Jones 5 happen WITH Harrison Ford you would think all those movies would be on Disney +. But no! They are not! And there is no reason to think that it will change either!
Is the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles are you streaming somewhere now?
Yes!. From July 2021, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles stream on Paramount +. Be warned though, this is reworked versions of the original seasons, which means that if you remember some of these episodes in a different order, you are not wrong. Several episodes were put together to create, in theory, a more seamless chronology. “Mystery of the Blues” is also missing, the only episode in which an older Harrison Ford appears as a narrator, which frames the story of his younger self.
Okay, but what about Indiana Jones 5? When does it come out?
Presumably, Indiana Jones 5 will come out in 2022. It is directed by James Mangold, who directed Logan, so maybe expect the movie to go straight to “old Indy”. Mangold also teased that the movie was set in the 1960s, which, taking into account the classic films of the 1930s, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was in the ’50s, the’ 60s makes perfect sense for the next one.
It has also been announced that Phoebe Waller-Bridge will play a major role in Indie 5 with Harrison Ford. This cast is a bit of a meta insofar as Waller-Bridge enters the Star Wars droid L3-37 Solo: A Star Wars Story. Although Ford was clearly not in that movie, Waller-Bridge will have the unique distinction of being in two back-to-back Lucasfilm movies with Han Solo, and now, Indiana Jones.
Indie 5 is expected sometime in 2023.
